Free Friday Flicks are classic & popular, family-oriented movies shown each Friday night throughout the summer at the DCR Hatch Shell on the Esplanade for FREE!  People of all ages flock to the banks of the Charles River with their own chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy these Free movies under the stars.  All movies are shown rain or shine at sundown (approximately 8:30pm). Free family movies this summer on South Garden at our Annual Magic 106.7 Family Film Festival. Entertainment starts at 6:00 p.m., and movies start at sundown. The festival runs every Saturday from July 5 to August 30 in the Center’s South Garden with entertainment, games and gift card giveaways beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed by the featured movie starting at sundown. Rain dates are scheduled for the following Wednesday, complete details can be found on The Shops at Prudential Center’s website. The schedule for the Family Film Festival is as follows:

Summer Arts Weekend – July 26-27th – Copley Square, Boston!

Laurie Martinelli, Executive Director, was asked to serve on a Stakeholders group to address Bridgewater State Hospital (as a result of Michael Resendiz’ articles in Boston Globe about Joshua Messier and conditions for people with mental illness).  Governor Deval Patrick chaired the first meeting of Stakeholders at Bridgewater State Hospital in early May and then Laurie attended several Stakeholder meetings at DMH with DOC and other stakeholders.
