Bequests are a meaningful way to ensure the ability of NAMI Massachusetts to provide quality education and support programs to the people it serves. Bequests can be made in the form of a specific gift of cash, appreciated securities or property, or as a percentage of your estate.
Language below may be inserted in your will or as added as a codicil to your existing will:
[Insert your name] give and bequeath to NAMI Massachusetts, the sum of _________Dollars ($_______) for its general charitable purposes; or
[Insert your name] give (__%) of my residuary estate to NAMI Massachusetts for its general charitable purposes.
There are many ways to make legacy gifts that should be discussed with your tax advisor, financial planner or estate attorney to find the appropriate one for your situation. For more information on making a bequest, or to specify a particular purpose for a bequest, please contact Laurie Martinelli, executive director, at Lmartinelli@namimass.org or 617-580-8541, ext. 205.
