At this event, a panel of speakers who have personal experience with mental illness will talk about how they’ve found pathways to hope and healing. They will address the typical stages that lead to healing as well as the healthy management of a chronic mental health condition. They will also help dispel common myths and stereotypes and talk about how mental illness is often treatable.There will be a question and answer period. Information sheets and brochures about mental illness and mental health services will be available for the taking. Refreshments will be served. The Acton Memorial Library is wheelchair accessible. The Public is welcome.
