Daniel Giers is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and an MBA from Southern Illinois University. Currently, he performs private practice counseling in Champaign County and is part owner and Clinical Director of True North PTSD Center. On his off time he speaks publicly to professional psychology programs, news affiliates, and universities on stigma, treatment, and recovery of a variety of mental health and trauma-related topics.
