Alternatives to Suicide Support Group

This is a peer-run group for individuals who want a safe, judgment-free zone to talk about alternatives to suicide. The group is supportive and confidential and strives to create a space where people can provide peer support for one another, and strategize about alternatives to help each other best cope with difficult life circumstances.

Alternatives to Suicide Support Group

meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month
6:30 – 8 pm
First Church in Jamaica Plain, Unitarian Universalist
Morse Room

Pllease review our guidance for in-person programs during COVID-19 before attending (pdf).

The Alternatives to Suicide approach was developed by the Wildflower Alliance in 2009 as one of the only peer-to-peer groups that fully focuses on the topic of suicide. Read the Alternatives to Suicide Groups Charter (pdf). Visit the Wildflower Alliance’s website for additional Alternatives to Suicide group options.
