NAMI Family Support Groups are free groups for family members, friends, and caregivers of people diagnosed with mental illness. Participants gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family members and other caregivers of people diagnosed with mental illness. It offers resources, insights, coping skills, and genuine support for families, and equips class participants with the knowledge they need to navigate the mental health system.
NAMI Basics is a free, 6-week class for parents and family caregivers of children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral issues. Participants will learn communication tips, how to problem-solve, and the skills to help them cope with the emotional impact of caring for their child.
COMPASS is the information and referral helpline at NAMI Massachusetts. We provide resources and support to help people navigate the complex mental health systems, and help problem solve in difficult circumstances.
