NAMI Massachusetts has been chosen as a pilot site for a new national program designed to educate law enforcement that will be rolled out this summer. We are looking for people with lived experience of mental health or substance use conditions and family members of people who have experienced mental health or substance use challenges.

Speakers will present their stories to police departments across the state to help law enforcement respond effectively and compassionately to individuals in crisis. Speakers will complete a two-part training course, including a full-day, in-person training in Boston on Saturday, March 30. This training will provide speakers with guidance and support in sharing their stories.
