2025 Advocacy Day Schedule
Day 1: Tuesday April 1st: Speaker Programs
Speakers will be streamed live on NAMI Mass Facebook. Registration not required. Facebook account not required. We will be uploading the recordings onto our website at the conclusion of the event.
11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Speaker Series on the impact of NAMI Massachusetts in 2024 and our future.

2:00 – 3:00 pm: Hear from Massachusetts legislators on how to stay involved in mental health advocacy at the state level!

- Representative Jack Lewis – House Chair, Joint Committee on Municipalities and Regional Governmen
Day 2: Wednesday, April 2nd: NAMI Smarts for Advocacy training
Learn how to effectively share your story in just two minutes and capture your legislator’s attention. This training is ideal for first-time advocates or anyone looking for a refresher. While it’s not required to meet with your legislators, registration is required to attend.
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: NAMI Smarts for Advocacy Storytelling: Sharing Your Story Training
- 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Appointments with the Policy, Advocacy, and Communications (PAC) Department
Day 3: Thursday, April 3rd: Legislator Meetings
Meet with your legislators to make an ‘ask.’ NAMI Mass’s legislative priorities will be made available soon. Registration closes on March 21st.
- 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Time frame for Appointments with Senators
- 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Time frame for Appointments with Representatives
