Family support programs at NAMI Massachusetts are free, family-led, and open to people who are family members, friends, partners, and other caregivers of people who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition or experienced mental health symptoms.
NAMI Family Support Groups
NAMI Family Support Groups are free groups for family members, friends, and caregivers of people diagnosed with mental illness. Participants gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
NAMI Family-to-Family
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-week educational program for family members and other caregivers of people diagnosed with mental illness. It offers resources, insights, coping skills, and genuine support for families, and equips class participants with the knowledge they need to navigate the mental health system.
NAMI Basics
NAMI Basics is a free, 6-week class for parents and family caregivers of children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral issues. Participants will learn communication tips, how to problem-solve, and the skills to help them cope with the emotional impact of caring for their child.
Compass Helpline at NAMI Massachusetts
