We provide education, support, and training to people impacted by mental health conditions.
Peer support programs at NAMI Massachusetts are free, peer-led, and open to people who have:
- been diagnosed with a mental health condition
- experienced mental health symptoms
- experienced trauma, non-consensus phenomena or beliefs, altered states, or extreme emotional responses
- other people who would like to get support
Family support programs at NAMI Massachusetts are free, family-led, and open to people who are family members, friends, partners, and other caregivers of people who have been diagnosed with a mental health condition or experienced mental health symptoms.
The Community Education & Training team oversees presentation and training programs for educators, students, first responders, and other audiences. Additional programming on topics related to mental health and wellness may be available.
The COMPASS Helpline provides resources and support to help people navigate the mental health system and problem solve in difficult circumstances. COMPASS is available Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. Call us at 617-704-6264 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
