We are excited to invite you to NAMI Massachusetts’ NEXTGEN Youth Advisory Council’s upcoming Voices in Action (VIA) Conference: A Mental Health Conference By Youth, For Youth. This conference will be held at The Foundry (101 Rogers Street, Cambridge, MA 02142) on Saturday, March 28th from 12:30 – 4:30 PM.
This event is FREE to anyone aged 18-30 years old and is geared towards those who:
- Identify as a mental health advocate
- Have lived experience of a mental health condition, and/or
- Are an aspiring mental healthcare worker
Our conference will connect like-minded young adults and provide practical skills for mental health advocacy. With a focus on storytelling and building community, we invite you to join us through interactive workshops, networking with local mental health organizations, and hearing from speakers with lived experiences of mental health conditions.
Workshops will explore:
- Sharing your story to drive change
- Lived experience shaping mental heath careers
- Burnout and self-care
- Practical advocacy in day-to-day life
